The old one suited the blog better, but Blogger templates are rather limited unless you make your own.

Try exploring google for "blogger templates". There are loads. I like arriving at a page which doesn't have a stock Blogger.com template. The one I use is pretty basic, but I just cobbled it together using a free one I found as a basis.

Good luck! (Rohin from Pickled Politics)

I have to admit that I preferred the black design...

I prefer this one - I thought the solid black was a bit overbearing!

I like the Serious Black design. It looks, well, more serious!

Well - the black one was my choice so thanks for the vote of confidence!

Sorry, Steve - I like the new look, and it's easier to read too. I think you'll have to din another outlet for your inner Goth.

apologies... I don't know how 'find' was transmuted into 'din' above.

I am now tempted by this
    http://bloggertemplate56.blogspot.com/

It has a good colour, is a bit easier to read and yet is reasonably serious.

My big doubt is "am I up to installing it?"...

    bloggertemplate56 is too bright!

Too much of that is going to give me a headache

I should have sub-contracted this job to you, Paul! Hours of messing around and then I read your comment!

Really I would like to increase the font-size, but I´m reasonably happy with the colour scheme.

This is lightly and ineptly customised. Are we still in headache territory?

    PS: Good post on Cameron!

Way, wayyyyyy too bright. Very unpleasant on the eyes. Too 'gold'. Darker, easier-on-the-eye colors please.

"What is Liberalism?: I should say it means the acknowledgment in practical life of the truth that men are best governed who govern themselves; that the general sense of mankind, if left alone, will make for righteousness; that artificial privileges and restraints upon freedom, so far as they are not required in the interests of the community, are hurtful; and that the laws, while, of course, they cannot equalise conditions, can at least avoid aggravating inequalities, and ought to have for their object the securing to every man the best chance he can have of a good and useful life." C-B.

Aims

The Apollo Project seeks to put together new ideas on policies and campaigning to help broaden the appeal and enhance the impact of the Liberal Democrats.
